We can remember our very first Occupational Health Wales Conference at the Royal College of Nursing in 2009 with a small group of approximate 20 attendees. For the 5th year running, we took part in this successful and growing event, welcoming over 80 delegates to our stand at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff, demonstrating some of the very latest ergonomic innovations. It was interesting to hear their personal views.

The Spira Plus

Anne gil spira plus200This year’s health representatives were amongst the very first to experience this latest seating innovation, by Welsh Manufacturer ‘Orangebox’, a brand of Active Ergonomics, after it was officially launched at Clerkenwell Design Week 2014, only a short time earlier. Every review we received of the Spira Plus ergonomic chair was highly evaluated and marked it as a solution to recommend!

This NEW affordable seating solution offers you everything you might need for today’s modern office worker… and everything you’ve come to expect from an ergonomic operators chair, including a sculpted backrest with both lumbar and pelvic adjustable air cell support, as well as a back height adjustment of 7 cm (as standard features!). While the extra comfortable seat offers moulded foam with a memory foam wrap, a synchronous mechanism action allows for recline up to 20 degrees with a 5 degree forward and 3 degree backward tilt.  Learn more…

Arm Support Re:d

“ArmSupport Red makes the Rollermouse Re:d, which is already great productivity tool, even better.”

The Rollermouse Re:d with its newly launched Arm Support Re:d also received much attention. This new accessory aligns the upper body while you type and use your RollerMouse Re:d. What’s more it is ideal for height-adjustable workstations.  It’s simple to install and easily attachable to the front of desks, without the need for any tools!  Learn more…

We’re very much looking forward to attending the event next year, and already excited to see what new innovations will be available for us to demonstrate.
